The significance of Shuhayma's baby besides that she was born on my moms birthday is that she is the 4th great grandchild of the Isaacs clan ( husbands family).Both parents are still alive. They are 7 children, 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. So do the math..add the spouses (+7)..add the spouses of the grandchildren(+4) and I am not even going to add the boyfriends and girlfriends..When I have a function I cannot invite anyone else. My family adds up to 10.

Then between my family and my husbands family there are so many born on the same day!

Mom's Birthday 2007

21st April 2007 - My Mom's 65th birthday. We(thats the Noordien, all except the eldest grandchild, Zayaan - missed her & not forgetting my Dad - passed away 26th April 2005- missed him very,very much) family had supper at the first "halaal" restuarant in Franschoek nogal!

My mom,Nabuweyah decided she would also like to invite her youngest sister (she has 7 of which 6 are alive)Tie Zee(a spinster with alot of spunk!) and my cousin, Tie Bieba(a widow with 3 sons which she raised solo since they were very little and what a good job she did, Algamdulilah -praise be to the Almighty) who is like a daughter to my mom.

Food was great and so was the decor, atmosphere..pity we drove through so late. It would have been a double wammy had we been able to enjoy the scenery as well.

Oh, Shuhayma (Shafiek's nephew, Rehda's wife) gave birth to their 3rd child, a girl.
